AMAZING WEEKEND!! A storm really hit the Raleigh area this weekend!!We are so impressed with all of your performances!!We had several last minute changes due to illnesses and injury and you never would have known it!!SPRINKLES- I’m so proud of you girls, you really stepped up your game this weekend and competed in your first competition!!Your tumbling skills have really improved and you always look like you are having a blast!You always steal the show with your cute smiles and cheerful attitudes I’m so proud to coach you girls!! Special thanks to Jasia for stepping in at the last minute due to an illness, you did great!! BLIZZARDS- you girls are awesome!!Your performance Saturday was amazing!!Your tumbling ROCKED!! It looked like it was going to go on forever, we are so proud of all of you that added your tumbling to the routine it really stepped up performance!Your jumps and cheer looked great with the new changes and you always nail that dance! Bailey and Madison thanks for helping out with the blizzards you fit right in with them and stepped up to the challenge! HURRICANES- FLAWLESS what can I say, GRAND CHAMPS!! You guys looked amazing, your baskets, stunts, cheer, dance, jumps, tumbling... everything was awesome you girls have really come a long with this season and it showed this weekend, we couldn’t be more proud of you all!Thanks Melissa for stepping up to help out you did great!! TWISTERS- WOW!! You all are truly amazing!!This was your first competition traveling with us and you really gave everyone a show!! Your whole performance was solid from your stunts, to your tumbling and everything and it obviously showed winning BEST PERFORMANCE OVERALL!! TORNADOES- Once again you all impressed everyone; I was told it was your best performance yet!!You all are such an inspiration to everyone and it’s a joy to coach, your talents amaze me and your joyful spirits are truly a blessing!!We had several injuries and illnesses to work around this past week and you all really stepped up your game!!You guys always amaze us coaches with your dedication, determination, and perseverance!! LETS NOT FORGET OUR ULTIMATE AWARDS~SPORTSMANSHIP IS ALWAYS STRESSED AT OUR GYM AND YOU GUYS CERTAINLY SHOW THE TRUE MEANING.
I KNOW YOU ARE ALL DISAPPOINTED THAT THE ROANOKE EVENT WILL NOT BE HELD. WE LOVE TO ATTEND EVENTS WHERE YOU CAN BRING YOUR GRANDPARENTS, FRIENDS ETC. THEY SIMPLY DID NOT HAVE THE NUMBERS TO HOST. What a weekend!A storm definitely hit Richmond this weekend and it was very impressive!I’m so proud of all our Cheer Storm kids! We had a great weekend and got all our nervous jitters out of us plus we got to watch some other really good all-star teams!BLIZZARDS, you did a great job you really shined out there on that mat showing off with tons of energy and excitement!Your cheer and jumps looked amazing not to mention your cartwheel stunt!TORNADOES, you blew the roof away with your performance, you had everyone in that place on their feet clapping and cheering for you guys! Everyone loved the Elvis theme and was so impressed with your individual elevator.You all are simply amazing, I get so excited to watch you guys learn new skills each week and advance.You melt the hearts of everyone you meet and we are truly blessed to have you all as part of our Cheer Storm Family!HURRICANES, great job! A few minor bobbles but overall you guys looked great!Your pyramid was flawless…YAY!!!The tumbling was great the opening really caught the judge’s eye and loved it!The judges seemed to really like your routine with just a few things to fix you are going to be awesome!!I’m so proud of each and every one of you all!You have all worked so hard each practice and really strive to better yourselves in all aspects.We have so many new members this year and its great working together and combining the talents from our returning athletes and new ones.The coaches are very proud of you and can’t wait to see talents grow through out the year!At the next competition our youngest athletes will be joining you and I can say first hand, they can’t wait!! They watch you big kids on the mat each week and always ask me “Can we do that?”They are so impressed with all your talents and can’t wait to show of theirs!Lets really make these next few weeks count and show everyone who truly is the best!! WOW-Our Cheer Storm Family took a huge jump in the past week with new members. It was great to see the Twister squad start after high school cheerleading was over. This squad is for any high school cheerleader who is not ready to stop their competition season. The level of stunting and tumbling they were able to put together at the first practice - well it was just amazing. We welcome all area high school cheerleaders (tumbling required) to this newest squad.
Sprinkle Squad - you girls have so many new members! Coach Christina is starting to teach more stunting and tumbling. This is where you learn your basic cheerleading skills and you keep improving each Sunday. Can't wait for you to start traveling with us in January.
Blizzards - I believe our most improved squad so far this season. You work so hard on making those stunts hit. Jumps - wow! Have confidence in yourself with your tumbling. After all, you have the best tumbling instructors in the area.
Hurricanes - This squad is the hardest working group of young ladies. Each week Coach Monica pushes the stunting a little bit further and you always give 100% to try and make it happen. You have really cleaned up your dance and cheer~tumbling is amazing. Those new over the back stunts we will keep working for later in the season. You will shock the area with that stunt. Keep working hard. Can't wait to see you on the competition mat.
Tornadoes-Love the basket toss and your stunting skills on your own are really getting better. Tumbling - you never stop trying. I see the love that each child brings to practice on Sunday and that love is shared with you from the coaching staff. You guys are going to bring everyone to their feet at competition. Can't help falling in love!!!!

Tornadoes~ Wow I am so impressed with you guys, you have learned so much already this year you never cease to amaze me and doing a whole stunt by your selves. that's awesome!! Keep up the good work! Sprinkles~ to my little munchkins, you girls did great!! Not bad for putting together a routine in just 3 short practices! You had big smiles and really shook it on that dance!! Now we can clean up our forward rolls and work on some stunts and other fun stuff!! Blizzards~ great job today girls, way to hit your routine! We have SO many new kids on this team and Hurricanes and we coaches couldn't be more proud of how quick you have picked it up. You guys just really shined out there. You hit your routine just like you wanted and now we get to add in the harder stuff. Hurricanes~ good job today girls! We had a small mishap on that pyramid but you girl recovered and kept going you should be proud of yourselves! Like I said a lot of new kids on this team too and you worked hard together and did a great job. Great job to all those who entered the jump and tumble off you all did amazing and should be so proud of yourselves!! We have so many new faces at Cheer Storm this year and it's so great to see everyone working together as a team. Teamwork is the most important part of cheerleading without your team you wouldn't get very far! Everyone really jumps in and helps each other with whatever they need. We have 2 months till out next competition and a lot of changes to be made. You girls have shown in practice you are ready for some harder skills and we can't wait to add them to the routines. I can't wait to see what this new year at Cheer Storm has to bring!! Congratulations again to all of Cheer Storm!!

Cheer Storm, I am so proud of you guys, you did an awesome job on Saturday. You've worked hard preparing for this competition and it showed.We have a lot of new kids this season and it's great to see everyone working together, teamwork is very important.I'm so excited about the new season ahead, we have a lot of talent on these teams and are going to some great competitions and I know that we will dominate like we always do.I can't wait to get into the gym on Sunday to really amp up the choreography, our next competition is in December so we have plenty of time to make changes and increase the difficulty.This is going to be another great season for Cheer Storm!
